At Eastbury House, Our aim is to provide a comfortable and convenient home for the elderly where everyday problems are shared and solved; to offer a lifestyle and atmosphere that is “family-like”, non-institutional and as stimulating and as peaceful as each situation allows and needs. We encourage each resident to be as independent as possible, and to make as many decisions about their daily living as they are able, for as long as they are able.
We gently assist with day‑to‑day living while encouraging residents to maintain their routines, choices and independence. Our dedicated carers are always on hand to help with tasks such as personal care, mobility, medication and wellbeing, ensuring every resident feels safe, supported and free to be themselves.
With a warm community atmosphere, beautifully maintained surroundings and a focus on dignity and individuality, Eastbury House provides a homely environment where residents can relax, build friendships and enjoy life at their own pace.
Residents' families and friends are encouraged to visit and to join them for meals, afternoon tea, activities and all celebrations. There are 'social' activities such as keep-fit sessions, theatre trips, country drives, walks, birthday parties, pub lunches etc. These events are of course completely voluntary; each resident is treated as an individual. We recognise the fact that we have different needs, some for company, some for space and some for seclusion; we do our best to meet each of these needs. We aim to make our residents' lives feel more secure, less lonely and more fun than before. We believe in caring and giving the security of knowing that they can remain here for as long as they wish.
